Campaign "I have Rights" - 20th Anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in November 2009, the Council of Europe, with the support of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, is launching the campaign "I have rights". The campaign seeks to enable children and adults to discover the rights of the child and remind everyone that children too have the right to apply to the European Court of Human Rights. The 'I have rights' brochure is targeted at children themselves while both posters and brochures can be distributed in schools, medical centres and other places where children are present.
All cities are invited to participate in the campaign by printing and distributing the information material and posters provided by the Council of Europe. The necessary documents may be downloaded at: www.coe.int/children. For print versions which incorporate city logos, please contact children[at]coe.int
